'Vought Rising' Casting Updates: Jensen Ackles' 'The Boys' Prequel Adds Elizabeth Posey & Will Hochman

We have a couple new updates on the upcoming series Vought Rising! Prime Video’s The Boys prequel series will see Jensen Ackles reprising his role as Soldier Boy, and it was just announced that two new faces will also be joining. Elizabeth Posey, who has appeared on Heels and Euphoria, and Blue Bloods‘ Will Hochman have joined the cast. Keep reading to find out more… According to Deadline, Elizabeth with have a leading role, but additional details are being kept under wraps.

Variety reports that Will‘s role is also being kept on the down low. The Boys‘ Aya Cash will also reprise her role as Stormfront, and Mason Dye, who’s appearing in the upcoming fifth and final season, could also return for the prequel.

Showrunners Eric Kripke and Paul Grellong, previously shared of the series, “It’s a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought.
