The Dublin model has faced criticism since the launch of The Big Deal, as it has struggled to make an impact. However, Vogue has defended the show’s audience figures by claiming that due to changes in the way we consume TV, more people are watching the show on-demand on the Virgin Media player.
The show, which features hopefuls performing their talent in front of a star-studded panel of judges in a bid to win a €50,000 prize, had an average total viewership of 188,000 across all platforms for the first four episodes.
