Viola Davis Achieves EGOT Status

The decorated actress, who was also Glamour's , earned her first Tony in 2001 for King Hedley II, and her second in 2010 for Fences.

She took home an Emmy in 2015 for How to Get Away With Murder, and an Oscar in 2017 for Fences. Davis is the 18th person in history to achieve EGOT status, joining greats including , Rita Moreno, and John Legend.
