Neighbours reacted with outrage yesterday after a retired finance manager flew a Nazi flag outside his house, leading to police being informed.
It's fluttering on a 20ft tall flagpole in the garden of Steve Allman in Hurst Lane, in the village of Hindlip, near Fernhill Heath, Worcestershire, and can be seen from a considerable distance, to the fury of other residents.
One woman passer-by, who asked not to be named, said "I did a double take when I saw a flag bearing a swastika and eagle flying from a flagpole. "This is the day after the Battle of Britain anniversary and I don’t believe that is a coincidence.
