Vida is sadly coming to an end. The Latinx dramedy will come to a close with its third season, Starz announced on Wednesday (March 18).
The final season will be made up of six half-hour episodes, and will launch on April 26 at 9 p.m. “Sources say [showrunner Tanya] Saracho, who is in the last of her three-year overall deal with Starz, penned the third season with an ending in mind,” according to THR. “I have not been able to write this letter — every time I try my palms get sweaty, my heart does a cumbia beat and I get nauseous.
It’s taken me days. Because no matter how you slice it, this is a farewell letter,” she wrote in a letter to fans. “Mil gracias.
