Victory Road Studios Signs With Rain
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Victory Road Studios, the production company behind the Carmelo Anthony-EP’ed digital animated series Rabid Fans, has signed with Rain for representation.
The prodco teamed up with Creative 7 co-founders Anthony and Asani Swann on their first digital scripted series, Rabid Fans, an animated satirical sports commentary series featuring Carl McDowell (Ballers); sideline reporter/host Rachel DeMita (Courtside Club); comedian Jack Usher (The Anonymous); and Victory Road CEO Mike Basone as voice cast.
Rabid Fans is co-created and executive produced by Basone and Zac Greenbaum, with Greenbaum serving as head writer. New episodes are released biweekly on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, with Anthony set to be the show’s first celebrity guest in a March episode.
Victory Road Studios’ current nonfiction projects in development include documentaries with actor-turned-NASCAR driver Frankie Muniz and four-time World’s Strongest Man Brian Shaw.
