Victoria Beckham has finally revealed the heartbreaking reason why she chooses to not smile in photos.The former Spice Girls star who is known for her gorgeous looks is never seen grinning in snaps and instead opts for a more serious look when her picture is taken.

However, she has now admitted that there is a very sad reason behind why she has always struggled to smile.The 50-year-old model confessed that she is very self conscious about her skin and it knocks her confidence when she is being snapped which is why she often has a "stern" expression on her face.The fashion designer has opened up about her "problematic" skin in the past and her struggles with acne since she was a teen which continued throughout the peak of her Spice Girls fame.In a new interview with The Telegraph, she recalled how she felt "so uncomfortable" taking photos as she didn't feel confident enough in herself.Victoria was given the publication's inaugural Beauty Brand of the Year award and explained how skincare experts helped her work out how to solve her skin issues.

She said: "I probably did look stern in a lot of pictures, but I was so uncomfortable."
