Victoria Beckham's alleged "anger" over Meghan Markle's wedding has been revisited in a revealing new book about the former Spice Girl and her husband David Beckham.The House of Beckham by Tom Bower scrutinises David's romance with wife Victoria, detailing the highs and lows of their decades-long marriage alongside claims about their relationship with Meghan and her husband Prince Harry.The former England captain, 49, and Posh Spice, 50, were guests at both Prince William's 2011 wedding to Kate Middleton and Harry and Meghan's nuptials in 2018.
However, according to The House of Beckham, Posh felt "insulted" by not being invited to the Sussexes' wedding dinner.In his book, Bower writes that "Meghan had not invited them to the wedding dinner" and Victoria considered this an "insult" as "many guests such as George Clooney and other Hollywood stars invited that evening did not even know Meghan".
Bower points to photos of a "stony-faced" Victoria arriving at St George's Chapel for the wedding as evidence of her sour mood.
The author also claims Victoria's expression was in part due to David's behaviour at a party the previous evening, writing: "He had been buying drinks for a brunette while Victoria sat silently thunderous nearby.
