Victor Lindelof has said he "just wanted to help" after chasing a thief who stole his 90-year-old aunt's purse. The Manchester United defender caught the culprit whom he held until police arrived to take care of the situation.
But Lindelof's admits the situation moved so quickly that he didn't have time to think about his actions. He told Swedish newspaper aftonbladet : "Everything went very fast.
I did not think much. "I just wanted to help my aunt get her bag back and what she had in it. "It was nothing more than that, I just wanted to help." The 26-year-old has been praised by local officials however following his heroic act.
