A man who says he was sexually abused in a toy shop by Celtic Boys’ Club serial child sex offender Jim Torbett in an appalling case of historical abuse is to write about his anguish in a book.Gordon Woods, now 65, broke his silence when he spoke to the Record last October.It was the first time he had spoken of the trauma in the late 60s to anyone – including family.He told of being sexually abused by Torbett in a toy shop in north Glasgow, and how he was never deemed good enough to even play one competitive match for Celtic Boys’ Club.He claims he was told by Torbett to continue to attend training – to allow the abuse to go on.
