A Valentine's day samurai sword attacker has failed in his bid to get transferred to a low-security prison.Vicious Lee Brown, 42, was given 10 years for trying to murder his ex- girlfriend’s new lover with the weapon on a brutal attack on February 14, 2004.He is also serving another nine years for other offences.Now he has failed to persuade a judge at Scotland’s highest civil court to overturn a prison service decision to not transfer him to an open jail where conditions are much easier.Last year, bosses at HMP Glenochil, in Clackmannanshire decided not to transfer Brown to a “less secure” custody regime.
