Veteran market stall holder's toy collection to sell for £90,000 at auction

A massive collection of hundreds of rare antique toys is set to fetch up to £90,000 when it goes under the hammer at auction next week.

The house contents of smallholder Joan Dunk from London's famous Portobello Road Antique Market is being auctioned off by Special Auction Services in Newsbury, Berkshire during a two-day sale starting on Tuesday 9 June.

Mrs Dunk's London home was packed from floor to ceiling with old teddy bears which she began collecting in 1965. They included a Steiff cinnamon centre-seam teddy from 1908 that is now estimated to be worth as much as £4,000.
