Dame Vera Lynn once shared a stage with rock legend Lemmy and his former band Hawkwind. The forces sweetheart - who died today aged 103 - had a long and varied career over the years but her most unexpected show came back in 1985.
She was a late addition to the bill of a charity gig in London as part of an anti-drugs drive called the Anti-Heroin Campaign.
The line-up included prog-rock group The Enid, rockers Spear Of Destiny and glam rock band Doctor and the Medics. The show was headlined by Hawkwind, with former bassist Lemmy rejoining the band for the one-off show.
