Liam Payne has opened up on his heartache at not being able to see his son Bear during the current lockdown period.The 26 year old shares three year old Bear with his ex-girlfriend Cheryl, 36, but has been unable to see him due to the current coronavirus crisis.

Bear lives in Buckinghamshire with his ex-Girls Aloud singer mum while Liam resides in London. Former One Direction singer Liam has now opened up on the "difficult" conversations he had with Cheryl as they decided he should keep away from their son due to the pandemic.

He said: "Me and Cheryl had a very open conversation about visiting, but it's difficult. "It was right around his birthday that it [lockdown] happened.
