‘Venom: The Last Dance’ Hits $300 Million Globally, Clint Eastwood’s ‘Juror No. 2’ Opens to $5 Million at International Box Office

Rebecca Rubin Senior Film and Media Reporter “Venom: The Last Dance” notched a major box office milestone, crossing the $300 million mark in its second weekend of release.

So far, the third and final entry in Sony’s alien symbiote comic book trilogy has grossed $317.1 million globally, including $227 million internationally and $90 million domestically.

The film, led by Tom Hardy as the titular antihero, opened this weekend in France with $6.5 million and Japan with $3.8 million.

Other top markets are China with $70.6 million and Mexico with $13.4 million. “The Last Dance” cost $120 million to produce, which is far less expensive than most superhero tentpoles.
