‘Vanderpump Rules’ Stars Tom Schwartz Katie Maloney Confirm Split After 12 Years Together

It’s official: Vanderpump Rules stars Katie Maloney, 35, and Tom Schwartz, 39, have officially called it quits after 12 years together.

The couple made the announcement on March 15 via a lengthy Instagram statements, with Tom saying it was Katie’s “decision” to end their relationship.

The split was first reporeted by The Sun on March 14. A source told the news outlet that the pair was “flip-flopping” about whether or not to stay in the relationship, but ultimately, they decided to spend time apart as they figured out their future. “Katie and Tom have split and gotten back together and split and gotten back together,” the source claimed. “They’re currently not together, no.” The insider went on to say Katie is “doing her own thing right now” and that the former couple is “still cordial” and “go to the same events” due to their mutual friend group. “She hasn’t filed for divorce yet but it’s been discussed,” the insider went on. “They’re just taking time apart right now and seeing what happens.” Related Gallery The source continued by adding that the events that lead up to the split are “Katie’s story to tell” and that it was “her decision” to spend time apart. “She feels the fault is on him and he had his chances to be better but he didn’t step up to the challenge,” they shared. “Now she is focused on her own happiness, something that wasn’t prioritized in their marriage.” Fans were suspect of the marital status of the “Bubbas” after Katie shared a photo of herself and her former Vanderpump Rules co-star Stassi Schroeder on March 11 without her wedding ring.
