Brian Brown says a tense relegation battle last season means his side feel no pressure after hitting the top of the table.Victory against promotion rivals Belllshill Athletic on Saturday moved the Vale a point clear of Finnart at the top of West of Scotland League Division Three.More crucially it moved Brian Brown’s men six points clear of their third placed opponents, who have three games in hand.However Brian says his side are relishing being in a battle at the top of the table, having only avoided the drop on the penultimate day of last season.The boss said: “There’s definitely no more pressure being top of the table.“The real pressure was last season where we were looking as if we might be relegated.

That was proper pressure. This season is enjoyable and it’s totally different.“There’s a different feeling in the dressing room, everyone was buzzing.
