Valentina, a six-year-old tortoiseshell cat, was discovered by a member of the public in February in Accrington hyper-salivating and in a ‘terrible state’.
In an attempt to free herself from the trap, the cat had attempted to lick at the glue stuck to her fur which caused internal burns as well as burns to her mouth.
RSPCA Inspector Emma Dingley was able to rescue Valentina and immediately took her for emergency care at the RSPCA Manchester and Salford branch in Chorlton. “This poor cat was completely stuck to the glue trap
