Urgent search launched for missing teen who vanished two days ago

An urgent search has been launched to trace a missing teen who vanished two days ago.Officers say James Carr, 16, was last seen around 9pm on Friday May 26 on Greenock Road in Bishopton, Renfrewshire.Police are growing increasingly concerned for James' welfare and urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.He is described as white, 5ft 4ins tall and with brown hair.When James was last seen he was wearing grey Nike trainers, black Nike joggers, a black t-shirt, a black jumper, and a black and grey Northface jacket.Cops say James is sometimes known to use public transport and has been previously travelled to Invergordon and Edinburgh.A spokesperson for the force said: "Anyone who may have seen James or has any information on his whereabouts are urged to contact Police via 101 quoting incident number 4829 of 26th May 2023."
