Police have issued an urgent appeal following reports a young woman was 'forced into the back of a car' in Tameside late on Monday night (August 15).
Concerns are growing for the welfare of a young man and a woman involved, after the incident was reported by a concerned member of the public.
Shortly before 11pm, police received a call reporting somebody had seen a young woman forced into the back of a small silver car by a man on Taunton Road, close to the Dog and Partridge pub in Ashton under Lyne.
Enquiries have since established the pair may have argued moments before the incident, before the car sped off towards Oldham.
