Police have issued an urgent appeal to find a missing man who was last seen in a city centre hostel four days ago. Greater Manchester Police says Thariq was last seen at around 1.30am on Monday (May 27).
The 24-year-old, from Manchester, was in the Rahman Piccadilly Hostel on Fairfield Street at the time. His surname has not been given by GMP.
Thariq is described as 5ft 8ins tall, of slim build and with black hair. A photo of Thariq has been issued on social media this morning (Friday) alongside an appeal to find him. A GMP spokesperson said: "Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Thariq and want to make sure he is safe and well." Information can be passed on to GMP by calling 101, quoting log number 5850 of May 30, 2024.
