'Upset' Amber Heard 'fires PR team following bad headlines in Johnny Depp trial'
ok.co.ukAmber Heard has reportedly fired her PR team due to "bad headlines" covering her court battle with ex-husband Johnny Depp. In recent weeks, Hollywood actor Johnny, 58, has been taking to the stand in a Virginia courtroom to testify in his civil defamation case against his former wife, whom he acrimoniously split from in 2016 after only a year of marriage.
Amber is set to take to the stand later this week – however, the 36 year old is said to have been left "frustrated" that her narrative is not being told "effectively".
According to the New York Post, the Aquaman actress has dropped Precision Strategies and has hired Los Angeles based consulting firm Shane Communications ahead of her testimony.
A source told the publication: "She doesn't like bad headlines". A crisis communications expert, Lis Smith, added to the publication: "It's crazy to change teams in the middle of a trial like this because you don't like the headlines." OK!
