The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has confirmed that millions of Brits will see the August benefit payment date change.

More than two million people in the UK receive Personal Independence Payments (PIP), including those that live with a disability or health condition that affects their daily life.

The DWP announced that its decision to change the payment is not unusual due to the August bank holiday taking place on Monday 29.
