If you’ve been under a rock this week… or under the crushing weight of medical bills perhaps, Brian Thompson, the CEO of health insurance giant UnitedHealthcare, was shot to death in the street in New York City on Wednesday morning.
A gunman wearing a mask and hood waited outside a Manhattan Starbucks and at around 6:40 a.m. shot the exec several times at point-blank range with a silenced handgun.
The killer then ducked into an alley, hopped on an eBike, and rode into Central Park. Apparently police lost track after that.
