Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.

He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,

Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.

Umar Sadiq is reportedly wanted by Sevilla as Almeria slap a huge £52million price tag on his head.The Nigerian international spent the first half of the 2018-19 season on loan at Ibrox but struggled badly after his move from Roma.Sadiq had played and scored in Serie A before arriving but managed just four appearances for Steven Gerrard's side.His final Rangers game came in a losing League Cup semi-final against Aberdeen in which he was booked for an outrageous dive when it seemed easier to score.Sadiq impressed after moving to Partizan Belgrade though and his goals have Almeria on the verge of promotion to La Liga.He's hit 12 goals and recorded four assists in 22 league games this season and according to Extra Futbol that's caught the eye.
