Uma Thurman Joins ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ On Showtime
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Uma Thurman has been tapped as a series regular opposite Michael C. Hall in the Paramount+ with Showtime original series Dexter: Resurrection.
The Golden Globe-winning and Oscar and Emmy-nominated actress for her work on Hysterical Blindness, Pulp Fiction and Smash is one of the biggest names to ever enter the Dexter universe.
Production on Dexter: Resurrection, a present-day follow-up to Dexter: New Blood, started in New York this month on the heels of the strong launch of prequel series Dexter: Original Sin, which became Showtime’s most streamed premiere in history with more than 2.1M global cross-platform viewers and also its most social premiere with 657K interactions.
On Dexter: Resurrection, Thurman will play Charley, the Head of Security for mysterious billionaire Leon Prater. A former Special Ops officer, Charley worked various high-level private security jobs before taking on her position as the resourceful and meticulous right-hand woman for Prater.
