Forecasters had predicted that temperatures could soar 'above average' just in time for the Bank Holiday weekend. Brits hoped for similar scenes to those at the end of the July, when a scorching heatwave hit the UK bringing temperatures of up to 30C in some areas.
But the Met Office has now said there is little to no hope of another heatwave this summer. Speaking to The Sun, forecaster Steven Keates said the 'bland', bleak weather is set to continue.
