Greater Manchester is expected to be hit with snow in the coming days as a cold snap moves into the north west. The UK faces a chilly few days as temperatures drop as low as -2C in some areas.
The Met Office says that although flurries of the white stuff are expected in most regions, it is unlikely it will settle. Forecaster predict that northern regions will be hardest hit by the snow, with "heavy and wintry showers" expected across the region.
Freezing temperatures are expected to last for around 10 days. In Manchester, the temperature could drop as low as 0C, but feeling more like -4C on Saturday night, according to the Met Office.
