Brits are set to shiver as temperatures plunge to 1C this weekend before an expected heatwave this Easter. Forecasters have warned that a cold front will sweep over the UK on Thursday evening, bringing freezing air and windy weather.
The Met Office has predicted temperatures as low as 1C in central Scotland in the early hours of Saturday morning. However, temperatures are set to soar in the run-up to Easter, with the mercury expected to rise to 18C in London.
