Christmas " across the UK in a meeting with all four nations. Welsh First Minister Mark Drakeford told a press conference in Cardiff that he had received a letter from Prime Minister Boris Johnson at the start of the week.
It advised that he would be receiving an invitation from Michael Gove to a discussion on a common approach to Christmas across the UK.
Drakeford said the Welsh Government had attempted to secure that meeting this week but it had not yet taken place. He said the issue of people from areas of the UK with high levels of coronavirus coming into Wales after the country's firebreak lockdown ends on November 9 was a "dilemma". "I hope that the measures that are being taken in England help to bring the virus under control there.
