The UK's coronavirus hospital death toll has increased by 20 - the lowest rise on a Thursday in lockdown - to 33,736. England reported 19 new deaths and Scotland recorded its first fatality in eight days.
Wales and Northern Ireland reported no new deaths as the number of fatalities continued to trend downwards. In England, no deaths were reported in London and the South West in the previous 24 hours.
On recent Thursdays, the death toll increase by 24 on July 9, 45 on July 2, 63 on June 25, 69 on June 18 and 95 on June 11. The biggest rise on a Thursday was 891 on April 9, when the UK going through the peak of its outbreak.
