The UK coronavirus hospital death toll has risen by 43 to a total of 33,255. In England 37 more people died in hospitals, in Scotland three more patients died, and three patients also died in Wales.
There were no new deaths recorded in Northern Ireland. Yesterday the UK's coronavirus hospital death toll increased to 33,212 after 23 more fatalities were reported in the previous 24 hours.
Last Tuesday, June 23, there were a total of 56 deaths from coronavirus reported from UK hospitals. This figure was lower than the Tuesday before, June 16, which recorded 93 hospital deaths from the disease.
