Britain's coronavirus hospital death toll has increased by six, with all of the fatalities occurring in England for the second day in a row.
It is the same total announced almost a month ago on August 1, also a Saturday, further signalling that the number of deaths has remained flat.
There were no new deaths in Scotland for the third consecutive day. Wales and Northern Ireland each had no new fatalities for the second straight day.
On recent Saturdays, the toll increased by seven on August 22 and five on August 15, the lowest rise on a Saturday since the lockdown began in March.
