Fifteen years after Ugly Betty went off air, the cast is still interested in a potential reboot. The series, which starred America Ferrera as the titular character, aired on ABC for four seasons, starting in 2006.

During a recent podcast appearance, series star Ana Ortiz said that the cast has been talking about potentially reviving the show.

While she said that they “all wanna do it so badly,” Ana added that it would have to happen in a specific way for her to sign on. Keep reading to find out more… While on the Behind the Velvet Rope podcast, Ana explained that the cast would be interest in a reboot, but she would want to see something that was expansive enough to do the characters credit. “I honestly think the only way to do it is at least six episodes,” she said. “I don’t think, because it’s a large cast with so many different moving parts, you couldn’t put it into a movie.

It couldn’t just be a two-hour thing because every character is so epic really, right?” She said that “it would have to be” an actual season to give them time to let each actor and their character really shine. “I can only say that we are so… all of us, from soup to nuts, we all want to do it.
