Las Vegas’ Sphere…sort of.Starting Sept. 5, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will debut their ‘V-U2: An Immersive Concert Film at Sphere Las Vegas’ documenting their live shows at the legendary venue.“The goal was to give the immersive moviegoers as close to the live U2:UV concert experience as possible — and then some,” guitarist The Edge, who directed the film, said. “I’ve never seen a U2 show.
I’m so relieved I caught a great one.”This unique concert experience featuring Bono and co. will also break technological ground; “V-U2″ is the first film fully shot using Sphere Entertainment’s ultrahigh-resolution camera system, Big Sky.“‘V-U2’ does not just capture U2’s epic run at Sphere, it allows audiences to feel like they are at the live shows,” the group declared in a press release.
