Recording artist Tyler, The Creator is boarding the Josh Safdie directed movie, Marty Supreme, opposite Gwyneth Paltrow and Timothée Chalamet.
The pic reps the multi-hyphenate’s on-screen feature film debut. Plot details are under wraps, but the movie is reportedly inspired by pro ping pong player Marty Reisman.
Ronald Bronstein and Safdie wrote the screenplay, with the pair to produce alongside Eli Bush, Anthony Katagas, Chalamet and A24.
Reisman was a legendary American table tennis player known for his flamboyant style and exceptional skill. He started playing the sport at a young age and quickly rose to become one of the most iconic figures in the sport, winning multiple national and international titles.
