Txiki Begiristain hailed Riyad Mahrez as one of the most exciting wingers in the world as the Manchester City star signed a new deal at the club.
Mahrez, 31, had entered into the final 12 months of his current contract but has agreed fresh terms that keep him at the club until 2025.
The former Leicester winger thanked Pep Guardiola and the City coaching staff for helping him to take his game to another level and is aiming for more success in the future.
City are even happier that Mahrez has committed himself to the club given they have lost two experienced forwards in Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus.
