Police have launched a search for the driver of a Fiat 500 after two teenage girls were hospitalised following a crash in Edinburgh.
Authorities were called to Sir Harry Lauder Road in the capital at around 1 am on Sunday, January 29 following reports of a two-car crash between a VW Insignia and a Fiat 500.The two passengers of the Fiat, aged 15 and 16, were taken to hospital to be checked over following the incident.
The driver, however, made off from the scene.The driver of the VW told Edinburgh Live: "I was coming round Sir Harry Lauder Road, driving normally and all of a sudden someone smashed into me.
Once I realised what had happened I got out the car, and saw the driver staggering around so I went to get my phone to film him.
