Two men have been taken to hospital following a road crash on a major Scots motorway that has closed the road on Sunday.Police were called to the M9 near Junction 10 at the Craigforth Interchange, west of Stirling, shortly after 5am after receiving reports of a collision.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called to attend at the request of officers to assist at the scene.A Police Scotland spokesperson has since confirmed that two men were taken from the scene for treatment.
Meanwhile the northbound road remains closed between Junction 9 Stirling Services and Junction 10 Keir Roundabout while investigation works take place.A diversion is in place for northbound vehicles.
The southbound route is open as normal.Road network monitor Traffic Scotland said on Twitter: "[The] M9 remains CLOSED between Junctions 9 and 11 due to a road traffic incident.
