Detectives launched a murder investigation after a 41-year-old man died after being stabbed in a house on Liverpool Road, Eccles.
Police had been called to reports of a 'disturbance' at 11.10am on Monday, April 12. Medics tried to save the man but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
He has not yet been named by police. Two men, both 34, were arrested on suspicion of murder. One of the men has been released on bail.
