Two men are being held on suspicion of kidnap following an incident in Macclesfield. At around 10.40pm yesterday (May 16th) a 15-year-old boy stated that he had been approached by two unknown men near to the Flower Pot pub on Congleton Road who were asking for drugs.
The boy refused and was then threatened by the pair and bundled into a nearby car. The boy managed to escape uninjured and called for help.
Two Macclesfield men, aged 32 and 47, have since been arrested on suspicion of kidnap in connection with the incident. The pair are currently being question by officers in police custody.
