Police say a fight broke out between two groups of people on a footbridge near the park exit shortly before 5pm.Two men, also in their 20s, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, Surrey Police said.Thorpe Park said the assault was "very much an isolated incident" and has reopened the attraction to visitors.A spokesperson said: “We feel confident we have the necessary security procedures and measures in place to keep our guests and staff safe.”Thorpe Park also said it would extend its opening hours to 6pm today to thank visitors for their patience when entering the park.In a statement last night, police said the victim remains.
