Manchester Magistrates' Court today.Mr O’Casey, of Charles Street in Manchester city centre; and Mr Brown, of no fixed address, are both charged with the murder of 59-year-old Leroy Hanley.Mr Hanley was found on a sofa by the police after they were called to reports of a disturbance at his house on Carnforth Street in Rusholme in the early hours of July 14.He was pronounced dead at the scene after paramedics were called.Both Mr O’Casey and Mr Brown confirmed their names, addresses and date of births.No pleas were entered.Their cases have been adjourned for a preliminary hearing to be heard on Friday (July 24) morning at Manchester Crown Court.Both were remanded into custody.District Judge Simon Heptonstall said: “This case will be sent.
