Two boys have been arrested after a person was threatened with a knife 'within the grounds' of the Trafford Centre. Police said the incident happened within the shopping centre on Wednesday.
They said a group 'made threats with a knife' to steal property from a victim. Last night, officers confirmed that two boys had been arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery in connection with the incident.

In a statement posted on the GMP Trafford North Facebook page last night, police said: "Earlier this evening the #TraffordWest Neighbourhood team have arrested 2x juvenile males on suspicion of attempted robbery. "This is following an incident that took place yesterday where a group made threats with a knife to steal property from a victim within the grounds of the Trafford Centre.
