cannabis from a farm in a former HSBC bank after meeting a mysterious man at Costa Coffee. Elion Kulla and Ergis Sina, 26 and 25 respectively, became involved with the man after Kulla, of Dale Street in Bradford, experienced financial troubles and sought help from friend Sina.
Sina, of no fixed abode, lived in London after arriving in the UK in the back of a lorry in 2015, but moved to Leeds with his girlfriend and became closer with friend Kulla, Hull Crown Court heard on Thursday.
Michele Stuart-Lofthouse, prosecuting, explained Sina told police the unknown man had approached them at Costa and asked them to deliver two large bags to the former HSBC branch building in Queen Street, Withernsea, and he would pay them for the task, Hull Live.
