Two adults who tried to save children at Taylor Swift dance party suffer horror injuries

Police have revealed that two hero adults jumped in to 'try and protect children' during a horrific attack at a Taylor Swift dance party.Officers have confirmed that two children have died while nine others are injured.

As reported by the Mirror, six of which are in a critical condition following the "ferocious" attack in Southport and two adults were also injured.This evening Merseyside Police Chief Constable Serena Kennedy said at a press conference that the force believed the adults were injured while "bravely" trying to protect the children.

She said: "We believe that the adults who were injured were bravely trying to protect the children who were being attacked."Police confirmed that a 17-year-old boy, from the village of Banks, was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.

The teenager, originally from Cardiff, is set to be questioned following the "major incident", which happened at a property on Hart Street in Southport, north of Liverpool, at around 11.50am on Monday.According to police the motivation behind the knife attack in Southport “remains unclear”, however it is not being treated as terror related.
