Twitter Announces They're Taking Away This Feature in August!

Twitter will be slightly changing on August 3. The social media platform made an announcement on their own page to reveal the news. Click inside to read what’s being removed from Twitter… “we’re removing Fleets on August 3, working on some new stuff,” Twitter announced, before adding, “we’re sorry or you’re welcome.” If you don’t know, Twitter revealed Fleets last year, saying “fleets are for sharing momentary thoughts – they help start conversations and only stick around for 24 hours.” Many fans might hope that the new “stuff” the platform is working on might be an edit button!

However, there was an important update in the edit button debate last year. One huge star has been trying to get Twitter to add an edit button since 2018.
