TWICE's new single, "Fanfare," lands at No. 1 on the latest Billboard Japan Hot 100 with 208,778 copies sold in its first week.
On the chart dated July 6 to 12, the multinational girl group leads physical sales while faring well in Twitter mentions (No.
2), look-ups (No. 3), and radio airplay (No. 4). Although the song's performance in digital metrics left something to be desired (No.
12 for video views, No. 16 for downloads, and No. 28 for streaming), the group managed to hold one of this week's top contenders -- hitmaker Kenshi Yonezu -- at bay.
