Twelve more people with coronavirus have died in UK as new daily cases edge towards 2,000

Data published on the official Government dashboard revealed an additional 12 deaths were recorded in all settings.The Government said a total of 41,549 people had died in the UK within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19 as of Saturday.
Meanwhile the Department of Health said that as of 9am on Wednesday further 1,813 coronavirus tests came back positive, up from 1,735 yesterda y and an increase of more than 700 from just a week ago.
Overall some 334,164 cases have been confirmed, up from a figure of 340,411 announced on Friday.Separate figures published by the UK’s statistics agencies show there have now been 57,300 deaths registered in the UK where.
