TV star in 'tremendous pain' after body was ‘shattered’ in five-storey fall, as family give update

When Calls The Heart star Mamie Laverock has been left in 'tremendous pain' with her body 'shattered' after falling five storeys from a hospital walkway.The 19 year old actress is currently in hospital, where she has undergone multiple surgeries following the fall, which occurred on Sunday, 26 May.

Her family have provided an update on a GoFundMe page that they set up for her, as they expressed their gratitude to the nurses and doctors who have worked on Mamie.The post on the page read: "Focusing now on Mamie's surgery today.

Her body has been shattered. She has undergone two 11 hour surgeries with two doctors working on her, a three hour surgery and another surgery today. "We have nothing but gratitude for the doctors and nurses who have been exemplary in her care since May 26." It continued: "Doing well because she has survived these extensive surgeries.

She is enduring tremendous pain and continues to not give up. "We can only hold onto the miracles of each day and continue to thank everyone for their prayers and marvel at the miracles of her story.
